Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 120B, 212, 353, 386 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 17 of the Criminal Law Amendment Act and Section 25(1-b)a, 26, 35 of the Arms Act. From possession of co-accused Jai Ram Yadav firearm and cartridges were recovered when Jai Ram Yadav was in the house of this petitioner.
Submission is that nothing was recovered from possession of the petitioner nor the petitioner has got criminal antecedent. He is in custody since 30.08.2017. Investigation is already complete and the petitioner is ready to cooperate with the trial.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.3834 of 2018 (4) dt.16-03-2018 2/2 Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Konch Police Station Case No. 198 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
