2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has filed all the documents demanded by the Statutory Selection Committee.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is directed to file a fresh representation before the Vice Chancellor along with all supporting documents

Patna High Court CWJC No.1824 of 2021(6) dt.30-07-2024 2/2 and the Vice Chancellor is well advised to place the case of the petitioner before the Statutory Selection Committee of the University and the Statutory Selection Committee is directed to consider the case of the petitioner considering the fact that junior of the petitioner has been granted promotion and pass a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law.

4. It is made clear that the order must be passed in the next meeting of the Statutory Selection Committee and, if the petitioner will be granted promotion he will be entitled to all the consequential benefits.

5. With the aforesaid direction, the writ application stands disposed of.
