On this information, this Court had asked for a report from the Superintendent of Police, Motihari at West Champaran.

2. The report dated 14.09.2024 is on record indicating that appellant/Bhola Mian @ Ahasan Ali died because of asphyxia caused by hanging. While he was

Patna High Court CR. APP (DB) No.1317 of 2018(10) dt.19-09-2024 2/2 lodged in Motihari jail, he committed suicide.

3. Considering this aspect of the matter, the appeal preferred by appellant/Bhola Mian @ Ahasan Ali, therefore, abates.

4. The appeal is disposed off as having abated because of the death of the sole appellant.
