JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 09-02-2018 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Chapra Nagar P.S.Case No. 576 of 2017 registered under Sections 467, 468, 419, 420 and 471 of the Indian penal Code. Allegation in brief is that informant got one SIM card from JIO service provider but fraudulently two SIM cards were issued in his name and one of them is misused by criminals provided by the petitioner having a shop for issuance of SIM cards. Submission is that JIO SIM is issued by taking thumb impression of the application and same cannot be forged. However, it's not the case that another SIM was misused in any criminal offence and police has submitted charge and the petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.864 of 2018 (3) dt.09-02-2018 2/2 the petitioner, namely, Ravi Ranjan Kumar Singh @ Rabi Ranjan Singh, is directed to be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned CJM, Saran at Chapra in connection with Chapra Nagar P.S.
