Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Special (Excise) Case No. 510 of 2017, registered under Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. The allegation in brief is that eight bottles, each of 180 ml of illicit liquor was recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that nothing has been recovered either from the possession or house of the petitioner and the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case due to village politics and the petitioner is in custody since

Having considered the said facts and circumstances, the petitioner, Amrendra @ Amrender Poddar, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- ( Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special judge, Excise Act-cum- A.D.J.-II, Saharsa in connection with Special ( Excise) Case No. 510 of 2017.
