The petitioner filed this petition for grant of bail in Atri P.S. Case No.52 of 2014 registered under section 302 and other sections of the IPC corresponding to Sessions Trial No.66 of 2015.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the prayer for bail of the petitioner was firstly rejected on 29.04.2015 and thereafter the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected on 07.12.2016 in Cr. Misc.No.5245 of 2015 and Cr. Misc.No.24701 of 2016 respectively with direction to the trial court to conclude the trial within six months, but till date trial has not been concluded. The report was called for from the learned Sessions Judge and S.S.P., Gaya. The S.S.P., Gaya
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.69691 of 2018(7) dt.19-06-2019 2/2 reported that all the prosecution witnesses have already been examined.
In this view of the fact that the witnesses were examined and the trial is at the fag end, therefore, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. The trial court is directed to conclude the trial within two months from the date of receipt of this order.
