2. In the present case, the petitioner seeks bail in connection with Town P.S. Case No. 67 of 2022, registered for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 504, 506, 379, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, petitioners and other co-accused persons surrounded the motorcycle of the informant and started hitting him with slaps and fists and thereafter one Jatashankar Prasad gave knife blow on the neck of the informant and the accused persons snatched Rs.8,600/- from the informant.
4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.42242 of 2026(2) dt.29-06-2026 2/3 petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case which has been lodged after a delay of two days without any satisfactory explanation. Both the parties are neighbours and due to village politics the petitioner has been roped in the present case. The injury report shows simple injury though it is incised wound of size 4"x1/2"x skin deep on left forehead. There was no intention to cause death and there was no repetition of blow. The petitioner is in custody since 16.01.2026.
5. Learned counsel for the petitioner next submits that the main allegation of causing injury is against Jatashankar Prasad who has already been granted bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 24.11.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 75381 of 2025.
6. Learned A.P.P. appearing for the State opposes the submission made on behalf of the petitioner.

Having regard to the fact and circumstances and submission made on behalf of the parties and considering the period of custody of the petitioner and submission of charge sheet, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.42242 of 2026(2) dt.29-06-2026 3/3 satisfaction of learned concerned court in connection with Town P.S. Case No. 67 of 2022, subject to the following conditions:- (i) One of the bailors will be a close relative of the petitioner.
(ii) The petitioner will remain present on each and every date fixed by the court below, if so required by the learned trial court.
(iii) In case of absence on three consecutive dates or in violation of the terms of the bail, the bail bond of the petitioner will be liable to be cancelled by the court concerned.
