The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Chakai P.S. Case No. 163/2016 dated 11.10.2016 instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 324, 307, 379 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is said to have given a Farsa blow on the head of the husband of the informant leading to injury. Other accused persons are said to have assaulted the husband of the informant on other parts of the body.

Co-accused, Md. Nisar Mian, has been granted bail by a Bench of this Court vide order dated 09.11.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 53842/2017.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has drawn the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.56413 of 2017 (4) dt.11-01-2018 2/2 attention of this Court to Annexure-2, which is injury report of the husband of the informant, which indicates that though the victim has received a lacerated wound on the occipital region, but it has been opined that the injury is by hard and blunt substance. The petitioner is in custody since 08.09.2017 and does not bear any criminal antecedent.

Considering the nature of accusation, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jamui in connection with Chakai P.S. Case No. 163/2016.
