Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

This is an application for grant of bail to the above named petitioner in connection with Bettiah Muffasil (Manuapool) P.S. Case No. 17/2018 instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 342, 447, 323, 324, 307, 376, 511, 504, 506 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8 of the POCSO Act.

The prayer for bail of the petitioner for grant of bail was earlier twice rejected on merits.

Mr. Bimlesh Kumar Pandey, the learned Advocate for the petitioner has submitted that as on

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.47623 of 2023(4) dt.19-04-2024 2/2 date, two Investigation Officers, a Doctor and some other witnesses are yet to be examined.

The petitioner has remained in jail since 06.02.2018.

6.

The Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial positively within a period of four months, failing which, the petitioner shall have the liberty to approach this Court again for grant of bail.

The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
