The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Bikram P. S. Case No. 37 of 2002 registered under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Regard being had to the gravity of the offence as also the fact that the name of the petitioner transpired in course of investigation, I am not inclined to grant him anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected. (Ashwani Kumar Singh, J.) Kanchan/- U T
