2. The petitioner who apprehends arrest in connection with Runnisaidpur P.S. Case No. 163 of 2025 lodged 27.04.2025, for the offences punishable under sections 126(2), 115(2), 109, 74, 352, 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and sections 3 and 4 of the Prevention of Witch Practices Act, 1999.
3. As per the prosecution, the F.I.R. has been lodged against four named accused persons including the present petitioner with allegation that the accused persons has started assaulting the informant and his family members in the name of witch craft practice. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. It is contended that due to village-level political rivalry, the petitioner's name has been falsely implicated in the present case. The petitioner and the informant belong to the same village and have a longstanding land dispute. In that background, the present case has been lodged with a mala fide intention. There is no specific allegation against the petitioner, and the injuries alleged are simple in nature. It is further submitted that the present case is a counterblast to the case earlier lodged by the petitioner against the informant and others, bearing SC/ST P.S. Case No. 24 of 2025. The petitioner has a clean criminal antecedent.
5. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail but fairly submits that there is case and counter case between the parties.

In the facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the Trial Court within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of ₹30000/- (thirty thousand) as mentioned in Section 2(1) (d) of the Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha
