The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in connection with Vaishali (Belsar O.P.) PS case no. 340 of 2016 dated 29.12.2016 registered for the offences punishable under Section 304B, 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The case of the prosecution is that the marriage of the victim girl had taken place about two years back and on account of nonfulfillment of demand of dowry, the victim girl had been murdered. It is alleged that the victim girl and her husband had gone to Delhi on 21.12.2016, whereafter contact could not be made and it was found that the victim girl had been murdered. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at best the

It is further submitted that perusal of the case diary would show that no material till date has come to directly implicate the petitioner herein. It is submitted that the petitioner has a clean antecedent and he is father-in-law of the victim girl.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest or surrender within six weeks before the concerned court, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M., Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Vaishali (Belsar O.P.) PS case no. 340 of 2016, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of Code of Criminal Procedure.
