2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Patliputra P.S. Case No. 501 of 2024 dated 04.11.2024 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 137(2) and 96 of BNS.
3. As per the prosecution case, unknown miscreants are alleged to have kidnapped the informant's minor daughter.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner is not named in the FIR. The name of the petitioner has transpired in this case merely on suspicion. Nothing has been recovered from the possession of the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.42102 of 2025(2) dt.27-08-2025 2/3 petitioner. The petitioner has no concern with the alleged offence. It is further stated that during the investigation, it came out that the victim girl solemnized marriage with one Naresh Kumar @ Bablu. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner, who is a lady, is in custody since 13.11.2024. Similarly situated co-accused has already been granted bail by this court vide order dated 22.03.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 14705 of 2025.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition of the petitioner by submitting that there is specific allegation against the petitioner that she is involved in solemnizing the illegal marriage of the minor victim girl. The victim girl in her statement recorded under Section 183 of the BNSS has taken the name of the petitioner and the other accused person.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, Patna in connection with Patliputra P.S. Case No. 501 of 2024.
