2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 140(2) and 61(2) of the B.N.S..

3. As per prosecution case, on 07.09.2025, son of informant was kidnapped by some unknown persons and on 08.09.2025, she got a call from Mobile No. 7485031091 and the speaker told that son of informant is with him and he demanded extortion. Petitioner is owner of the sim card from which extortion call was made.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, specific and direct nature of accusation and gravity of
