2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Jamui Mahila P.S.Case No. 26 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Section 376 AB of the Indian Penal Code and section 06 of POCSO Act.

3. When the daughter of the informant was 8 years old, the petitioner is alleged to have committed rape with her.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that FIR has been registered after 9 years. The delay for registering of the FIR is explained in the FIR that the victim has disclosed the acts of the petitioner in the year 2024 during the concealing of a doctor. The petitioner is in jail since 30.04.2024.

5. Considering the facts and circumstance and

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.49894 of 2024(2) dt.24-07-2024 2/2 allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to granted bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner stands rejected.
