The petitioner seeks bail in Arer P.S. Case No. 63/2016, T.R. No. 1704/2019, instituted for offence under Section(s) 306 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 3⁄4 of D.P. Act.

Earlier prayer for anticipatory bail of petitioner was rejected by this Court vide order dated 06.02.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 55068/2017.

It is alleged in the written report that sister of informant was married with this petitioner on 27.04.2016. She went to her matrimonial house with her husband at Kanpur. After marriage, sister of informant was tortured by this petitioner and other family members for demand of two wheeler,

No.41690 of 2019(2) dt.24-07-2019 2/3 ornaments, furniture etc. It is further alleged that on 16.07.2016 brother of informant went to matrimonial house of his sister for Bidagiri on the occasion of Panchami Puja then the accused persons insulted both the sister and brother of informant and made demand of dowry. Thereafter brother and sister of informant came to his house. It is further alleged that on 23.07.2016, sister of informant (since deceased) made request with her husband to come in Panchmi Puja but he abused and threatened her and did not come. It is alleged that mother-in-law of sister of informant and Nanad mentally tortured her on mobile phone. Thereafter on 24.07.2016 she committed suicide by drowning herself in a pond near village Atrauli. The petitioner was directed to surrender before the Court below by order dated 06.02.2018 The anticipatory bail of petitioner was earlier rejected on merit.

This Court does not find new ground for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Therefore, prayer for anticipatory bail of petitioner is rejected.
