The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Beldaur P. S. Case No. 174 of 2014 registered under Sections 323, 341, 504 of the Indian Penal Code and 3(1)(x) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

Regard being had to the fact that though the alleged occurrence took place on 13th April, 2014, the FIR, in question, has been registered on 01.10.2014 and there is no plausible explanation for the inordinate delay caused in instituting the FIR, in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.623 of 2016 (2) dt.11-01-2016 2/2 within six weeks from today, the petitioner named above is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- ( Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Shri P. V. Verma, Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Khagaria in Beldaur P. S. Case No. 174 of 2014, G. R. No. 2163 of 2014, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. (Ashwani Kumar Singh, J.) Kanchan/- U T
