BAJANTHRI) Date : 15-03-2024 The present MJC is filed for non-compliance of the order dated 06.01.2020 passed in CWJC NO.16009 of 2018. Limited direction was that the petitioner was required to submit representation within a period of four weeks from 06.01.2020. He had submitted representation on 23.01.2020. Thereafter, the

Patna High Court MJC No.1749 of 2021 dt.15-03-2024 2/2 concerned authority was required to pass detailed speaking order within a period of three months from the date of receipt of petitioner's representation. Three months have elapsed on 22.04.2020 whereas the order has been complied only on 02.03.2024. Thus, petitioner respondents have committed contempt of Court. Having regard to the fact that they have complied belatedly it is not appropriate to initiate contempt of court proceedings. On the other hand, petitioner is entitled to litigation cost and it is quantified @ Rs. 10,000. Cost shall be paid to the petitioner within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt to this order.

2. Accordingly, the present MJC stands dropped, reserving liberty to the petitioner to assail the order dated 02.03.2024 vide Annexure "A" to the show cause before appropriate forum. (P. B.
