2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Kumarkhand P.S. Case No. 240/2025 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 137(2) and 3(5) of B.N.S.

3. As per the prosecution case, petitioner is alleged to have taken away the victim girl, who has died.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has falsely been implicated in the case. Learned counsel further submits that he has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 20.10.2025. The petitioner undertakes to co-operate in the case/ trial.

5. Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner and submits that during

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.43693 of 2026(2) dt.06-07-2026 2/2 investigation, it has come that deceased was taken away by the petitioner and they got married.

6. Considering the allegations levelled against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
