This is the second attempt on behalf of the petitioner for grant of bail in connection with Manpur P.S. Case No.36 of 2024 registered for the offence under sections 20(b), (ii)(b), 23(b) & 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act.

Earlier, the prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail has been rejected by this Court vide order dated 23.10.2024 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No.74642 of 2024.

The recovery is of 4 Kg of Ganja from the petitioner.

It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that in the trial only one witness has been

Considering the period of custody of the petitioner, this application is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Exclusive Special Judge, N.D.P.S., West Champaran at Bettiah, in connection with Manpur P.S. Case No.36 of 2024, subject to the condition that both the bailors will be the close relatives of the petitioner and the petitioner will cooperate in the trial and will appear himself or through his advocate on the dates fixed in the trial.

This is also subject to the condition that the petitioner will mark his attendance at Ramnagar Police Station, West Champaran on first and third Sunday of each month.
