Mr.A.G ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 04-01-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner prays for grant of regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 420/34 and other ancillary sections of the Indian Penal Code. As per the prosecution case, Rs. 13.18 lacs had been entrusted to the petitioner and other accused persons for some construction work in the Ward, whereas work of Rs.2.50 lacs were done by them.
By filing supplementary affidavit, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that co-accused Manoj Kumar has completed 75% work as per measurement book contained in Annexure 7 and the rest amount has also been deposited by him, whereafter he was released on bail by the Court below itself. Petitioner is in custody since 24.3.2020.
