The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner along with other accused persons is of assaulting the informant with knife and injured him.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that the allegation against the petitioner is that he hit from knife to the informant three times on his neck, forehead and left side of chest causing cut injuries to him. The doctor has opined that the injury is simple in nature. The petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 31.08.2020.

Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Town P.S. Case No. 420/2020 to the satisfaction of learned court below where the case is pending. (Anjani Kumar Sharan, J) amitkumar/- U T
