JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 15-01-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned APP for the State and learned counsel for the informant . The petitioner seeks bail in Patahi P. S. Case No. 14 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is husband of the deceased.

In the written report, there is allegation that daughter of the informant was set on fire after pouring k. oil on her body by the petitioner and his other family members. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that informant has not levelled any allegation against this petitioner. He further submits that petitioner was residing with informant in Delhi.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.74513 of 2018(3) dt.15-01-2019 2/2 filed a protest petition in the Court below. Learned counsel for the State after looking into the case diary has submitted that victim had sustained 80% burn injury. He has further submitted that marriage has taken place on 24.3.2015 and the daughter of the informant was done to death in her sasural by burn injury on 19.1.2018. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. The prayer for bail of the petitioner stands rejected.
