During course of patrolling informant, a police official got an information with regard to realization of extortion from the tempo driver whereupon, raid was conducted and during course thereof, one person Rakesh Kumar was apprehended. On search, Rs. 61,00/- was seized. Furthermore, on interrogation he disclosed the names of his associates as Ravi Kumar and Mukesh Kumar (Petitioner). It has also been disclosed by him that the aforesaid activities were being executed at the instance of Ravi Kumar.

Petitioner is under custody since 23.10.2017. Accordingly, Mukesh Rai is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of SDJM, Patna in connection with Digha PS Case No. 346/2017/GR No.6473/17.
