The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A/323/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the D.P. Act.

Petitioner is the husband of the informant. There is allegation of demand of dowry and torture.

Petitioner has stated on oath in para-12 of the petition that he is always ready for reconciliation and peaceful life. Notice was issued to the informant and informant has appeared through Vakalatnama, but no one appears on behalf of the informant as on today.

No.45746 of 2016 (5) dt.17-01-2017 2/2 In the circumstances, the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of thirty days from the date of receipt of the order, is directed to be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Katihar/Successor Court in connection with Katihar Mahila Police Station Case No.38 of 2016, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

The Court-below shall take step for reconciliation between the parties.
