Petitioners apprehend arrest in connection with Dhoraiya P.S. Case No. 20 of 2021 registered for the offences under Sections 498A, 147, 149, 341, 323, 307, 379, 354B, 504, 506 and 427 of the Indian Penal Code.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in the instant case merely due to land dispute. He also submitted that there is general and omnibus allegations against the petitioners. He further submits that the petitioners have no criminal

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State opposes the prayer of bail and submits that there is specific allegation of assault by means of an iron rod on the head of informant's husband and outraging the modesty of the informant against the petitioners. He therefore submits that petitioners do not deserve to be enlarged on anticipatory bail. Considering the nature if allegation levelled against the petitioners and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, this Court is not inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Their prayer for bail is accordingly rejected.
