Learned counsel for the petitioner is expected to honour his undertaking given in the instant case for depositing the requisite court fee and to remove the defects as pointed out by the office when called upon to do so by the office.

The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B), 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The accusation is of killing the daughter of the informant for non-fulfillment of dowry demand of Rs.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.53497 of 2021(3) dt.11-05-2022 2/2 2,00,000/- and motorcycle.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is unfortunate husband of the deceased and he has falsely been implicated in this case. The victim herself has committed suicide after closing the door of her room. Moreover, the allegation of demand of dowry is false and fabricated.

Considering the fact that petitioner is husband of the deceased and he has ample responsibility towards his wife and the fact that the witnesses in their statements have supported the prosecution version as also the postmortem report corroborates the prosecution version, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner stands rejected.
