2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 498A, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
3. By order dated 21.09.2024, this matter was referred to the Patna High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre to resolve the dispute between the parties.
4. The learned Mediator vide its report dated 29.10.2024 has, inter alia, reported that a settlement has been arrived at between the parties as per the terms and conditions as
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.48402 of 2024(4) dt.03-12-2024 2/2 mentioned in the report.
5. As the dispute has already been resolved between the parties, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court below where the case is pending/successor Court in connection with Complaint Case No. 117 of 2023, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
6. The petitioner is directed to comply the learned Mediator's report dated 29.10.2024, if the petitioner will not comply learned Mediator's report dated 29.10.2024, then the opposite party no. 2 would be at liberty to file an application for cancellation of bail.
