The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 354(B), 354(C), 506, 498(A), 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The accusations are of torture and assaulted for non-fulfillment of dowry demand.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case since he happens to be the husband of the informant.

No.53548 of 2021(9) dt.29-09-2022 2/2 Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the informant and learned A.P.P for the State have vehemently opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner and submitted that torture was inflicted by the petitioner to his wife who is informant before this Court. The petitioner is not ready to keep the informant or maintain her. The witnesses have also supported the prosecution case and the injury report of the informant shows that informant sustained injuries on right side of cheek and upper portion of chest.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
The prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner stands rejected.
