2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sonbarsa P.S. Case No. 267 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 8/20(b)(ii)(A) of the NDPS Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, 4.5 Kg of Ganja has been recovered from the petitioner.

4. The petitioner is in jail since 1.9.2023 and he has clean antecedent.

5. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Union of India has vehemently opposed this application.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts, this application is allowed.

7. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, NDPS Act, Sitamarhi/concerned Court below in connection with Sonbarsa P.S. Case No. 267 of 2023.

8. As a condition of this order, the petitioner after being released on bail is directed to mark his attendance at Malangawa Police Station on every Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the police station will result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Vikas/- U T
