The petitioner is in custody in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No. 399 of 2018 for the offences under Sections 406, 409, 418, 419, 420 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 28.06.2018. He further submits that at the relevant time he was the Deputy Manager of State Bank of India at Mouryalok Branch. In the instant case total Rs.86,13,22.19/- was encashed, the beneficiary of such transaction namely Gopal Thakur and Nirmala Kumari has approach this Court for grant of
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.74764 of 2018(3) dt.29-01-2019 2/2 anticipatory bail and on the undertaking that they will deposit the aforesaid amount of Rs.86,13,222.19/- in six equal fortnightly installments, they have been granted anticipatory bail by the co-ordinate Bench of this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 80454 of 2018 vide order dated 22.01.2019.
Considering the aforesaid, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patna in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No. 399 of 2018.
