JUSTICE SANJEEV PRAKASH SHARMA ORAL ORDER 18-02-2022 Heard the parties through video conferencing. The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Chapra Muffasil P.S. Case No. 457 of 2019 instituted for the offences punishable under Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Taking into consideration the allegations of having broken up the marriage on the basis of demanding of dowry after the engagement being done, wherein a huge amount of Rs. 15 lakhs was received, I do not find it a fit case for grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
