2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Naubatpur P.S. Case No. 20 of 2025 dated 05.01.2025 registered for the offence(s) punishable under Sections 25(1B) (a), 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution story, on 05.01.2025, during raid by the police (informant) at village Chakiyapar near Sun Temple, the petitioner tried to flee from Primary School towards Sun Temple but was apprehended and he told that he along with his companion namely, Satish Kumar @

No.43369 of 2025(2) dt.18-07-2025 2/3 Shakti fired thrice at the house of the shopkeeper namely, Om Prakash @ Maina Ji to extort money and also told the police that he had concealed the arms in his house. On the basis of his disclosure, three country made pistols in a plastic bag, one country made pistol with magazine and four live cartridges were recovered from his house.

The main submissions advanced by the petitioner's counsel are that the petitioner has been languishing in jail since 06.01.2025, though, against him, there are criminal antecedents of two cases but in Naubatpur P.S. Case No. 733 of 2024, he has been remanded after he was taken into custody in the present matter, from his physical possession nothing incriminating material was recovered when he was apprehended.

5. Learned APP appearing for the State has vehemently opposed the bail prayer and submits that the petitioner has criminal antecedents of two cases involving serious offences and upon his disclosure, four pistols with magazines and live cartridges were recovered from the house of this petitioner.

Considering the seriousness of allegation appearing against this petitioner and mainly recovery of large
