2. This is an application for regular bail on behalf of the petitioner for the offences alleged under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, registered in connection with Dhanha P.S.Case No. 85 of 2024.

3. It is alleged that the petitioner being cleaner, along with the driver of the pick-up van, was transporting the illicit liquor to Bettiah. On way, the pick-up van was searched wherefrom 838.08 litres of English wine was recovered.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that for recovery of 838.08 litres of English wine, the petitioner is in incarceration since 30.04.2024. He is a person of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.46488 of 2024(2) dt.09-07-2024 2/2 clean antecedents.

5. On the other hand, the learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner the privilege of bail, which is hereby rejected at this stage.

7. However, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after three months.
