The petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Motihari Town P.S. Case No. 464 of 2016 registered for the offence punishable under Section 386 of the Indian Penal Code.

Informant has submitted a written report before the S.H.O. in which he has stated that on 18.07.2016 at 4.29 PM he received a telephonic call in which ransom Rupees twenty lacs was demanded within five days or loss of his life threatening was given Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that

No.2068 of 2018( 3 ) dt.12-02-2018 2/2 petitioner is not named in the FIR It has transpired on confessional statement of co-accused Munchun Sah who has been granted bail in Criminal Misc. No. 8119 of 2017 dated 08.03.2017. Except confessional statement, no incriminating material has been recovered from his possession. It has further been submitted that suspected mobile number does not belong to petitioner. It has further been submitted that petitioner is in custody since 02.05.2017.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Motihari, in connection with Motihari Town P.S. Case No. 464 of 2016 (S. Kumar, J) veena/- U T
