The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Bajpatti P.S. Case No. 152 of 2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 366A and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The accusation against the petitioner is of having kidnapped/abducted the minor daughter of the informant for the purposes of marrying her.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has drawn the attention of this Court to the fact that the victim has given

No.40180 of 2020(2) dt.16-06-2021 2/2 her statement under Section 164C Cr.P.C. in which she has shown her age to be 18 years and has stated that she has married the petitioner of her own volition and was not subjected to any intimidation or pressure of any kind. Considering the afore-stated facts, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rs. Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Pupri, Sitamarhi in connection with Bajpatti P.S. Case No. 152 of 2020, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
