Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 379 and 414 of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner was apprehended on suspicion that he was carrying a stolen motorcycle.
Petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent and he was simply apprehended on suspicion. Nothing was recovered from his possession. Petitioner is in custody since 08.09.2017.
Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail, on completion of six months of
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.55736 of 2017 (3) dt.04-01-2018 2/2 custody, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Muffasil Police Station Case No. 477 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
