The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bairgania P.S. Case No. 187 of 2017 dated 23.07.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 272, 273, 290, 294 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(A), 37(A), 41 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

From the possession of co-accused Ashok Manjhi, forty eight litres of Nepali liquor was recovered and on his confession, the petitioner has been made accused in this case. He is in custody since 03.08.2017. Earlier, the petitioner was made accused in four cases and out of those cases, he is on bail in two of them and in the rest two cases, he stands acquitted.
