2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Gopalganj P.S. Case No. 85 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 406, 467 and 471/34of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Though the allegation is that the petitioner and his sons have cheated Rs. 22 lakhs approx from the informant for providing a job but the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner being the father has been falsely implicated and his son Vivek Kumar is involved in these kind of illegal activities. The petitioner being a senior citizen is in jail since 01.05.2024 and has clean antecedent.

4. Learned APP appearing for the State and learned

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.50275 of 2024(2) dt.24-07-2024 2/2 counsel for the informant have opposed the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

5. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj in connection with Gopalganj P.S. Case No. 85 of 2024.

6. The Superintendent of Police, Gopalganj will take all steps for arrest of the remaining accused persons.

7. Let a copy of this order be communicated to the Superintendent of Police, Gopalganj forthwith through FAX or e-mail for its compliance.
