The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Maniyari P.S. Case No.246 of 2018 registered for offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 307, 353, 332, 427, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a), 38 and 41 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has drawn attention of this Court to the order dated 10.06.2020 passed by a coordinate Bench of this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 7123 of 2020 by which similarly situated co-accused, namely, Pappu Singh @ Pappu Kumar Singh has been granted anticipatory bail. For the reasons mentioned in the order dated 10.06.2020 passed by a coordinate Bench of this Court in Cr.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.2059 of 2021(3) dt.23-11-2021 2/2 Misc. No.7123 of 2020, this application for anticipatory bail is allowed.

Accordingly, let petitioner, above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise Act, Muzaffarpur in connection with Maniyari P.S. Case No.246 of 2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
