JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 21-12-2022 The short prayer made by the petitioner in the present writ petition is to direct the District Magistrate, Patna to dispose off the application filed by the petitioner on 18.12.2020, for grant of Arms licence, which has been numbered as Miscellaneous Arms case no. 9-91/2021 and Miscellaneous Arms case no. 9-95/2021.

The learned counsel for the respondent- State submits that in case, the aforesaid cases are still pending, the same shall be disposed off, forthwith.

Patna High Court CWJC No.11639 of 2022(2) dt.21-12-2022 2/2 In view of the aforesaid submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties, I deem it fit and appropriate to direct the District Magistrate, Patna to dispose off the aforesaid cases/ applications filed by the petitioner for grant of Arms licence, in case the same are still pending, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks of receipt/ production of a copy of this order. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
