The petitioner seeks bail in Piprahi P.S. Case No. 120 of 2018, instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(A), 37(B) and 38 of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Counsel for the petitioner submits that from the seizure list it will appear that 525 litres of Nepali Soufi has been recovered from the bush near Bagmati river and 63 litres from the ditch behind the house of the petitioner. He further submits that petitioner has been arrested merely on suspicion. He is in custody since 16.9.2018.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.42264 of 2019(2) dt.12-07-2019 2/2 bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Sheohar, in connection with Piprahi P.S. Case No. 120 of 2018, subject to the condition that both the bailors will be the close relatives of the petitioner.
