1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(I) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus for commanding and directing the respondent authorities concerned to allow the petitioner to discharge his duties as Office Attendant in the Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank, Ramgarh, Chainpur, District -Siwan, as he has been continuing in the aforesaid bank since 10.10.2014 on contractual basis and had been discharging his duties with best of his abilities and to the satisfaction of authorities of the Bank but since 17.10.2020, though he

Patna High Court CWJC No.16264 of 2021(2) dt.24-01-2024 2/3 regularly goes to the Bank but no work is being taken from him and he has also not been paid his honorarium from the aforesaid date without any information and notice and the petitioner has come to know that in his place one Satendra Kumar, resident of village Bhagwanpur, P.S.- Siswan, District - Siwan has been accommodated by the Branch Manager, Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank, Ramgarh, Chainpur, Siwan by fraudulent means and only with a view to harass the petitioner and to snatch the only source of his livelihood.

(II) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus for commanding and directing the respondent authorities of the Bank to allow the petitioner to discharge his duties as Office Attendant in the aforesaid bank along with payment of his honorarium, as the petitioner has been continuing as Office Attendant in the aforesaid bank since 10.010.2014 and without any notice or information, he has not been allowed to discharge his duties and he has not been paid his honorarium due since 17.10.2020.

(III) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus for commanding and directing the respondent authorities concerned to dispose of the representations of the petitioner which he has sent through speed post on 25.08.2021 addressing to the Regional

Patna High Court CWJC No.16264 of 2021(2) dt.24-01-2024 3/3 Manager, Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank, Regional Office, Ayodhyapuri, Siwan and the Branch Manager, Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank, Ramgarh Branch, Chainpur, District - Siwan by reasoned and speaking order by ventilating the genuine grievance of the petitioner for allowing him to discharge his duties as Office Attendant in the foresaid bank with payment of his honorarium due since 17.10.2014."

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent-authorities for redressal of his subsisting grievances, if any. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. The present writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
