JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 29-01-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and State. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Mahishi P.S. Case No. 136 of 2018 for the offence under Sections 307, 341, 342, 447, 324, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code and later on Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code has been added.

Considering the totality of the facts situation, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for grant of bail of the petitioner is rejected. However, the trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same preferably within a period of nine months on day-to-day basis and will also take all coercive steps to ensure attendance of the witnesses in accordance with law.
