The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Madhubani Town P.S. Case No. 272 of 2017 dated 15.09.2017 instituted for the offence under Section 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant had withdrawn Rs. 12000/- from the bank and petitioner is alleged to have stolen that money by using a blade while he was standing beside the informant. The petitioner was apprehended by local people and he disclosed his name as that of petitioner.

Considering the nature of accusation and the period of custody which is from 16.09.2017, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
