In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Runnisaidpur P.S. Case No. 43 of 2019 registered for offence punishable under sections 30, 30(a), 38 (i) (ii) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. A huge quantity i.e. 1058.400 litres of liquor was seized by the police from NH-77. It has been alleged that taking advantage of the darkness, the petitioner fled away from there.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the name of petitioner has come on account of enmity. Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case,

However, if the petitioner surrenders within a period of three weeks and prays for regular bail, the court below without being prejudiced by this order, will take decision in accordance with law.
