The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Kasim Bazar PS case no. 55 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Section 307/34 of Indian Penal Code and 27 of Arms Act.
This Court, vide order dated 29.11.2018, had directed the trial court to furnish the details regarding the present stage of the case and the time likely to be consumed in disposal of the trial. The learned 1st Additional Sessions Judge, Munger vide letter dated 10.12.2018 has stated that charges have been framed in the case and P.W.1 has been examined and discharged. Thereafter, N.B.W. has been issued against rest of the witnesses on 05.12.2018. It has been further stated that the trial is likely to

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case as also considering the letter of the 1st Additional Sessions Judge, Munger dated 10.12.2018, I deem it fit and appropriate to grant liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after expiry of six months.
Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of as withdrawn.
