Petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 2, 7, 9, 17, 27, 29, 31, 50, 51 of the Wild Life Protection Act.

As per the prosecution case, this petitioner was apprehended with cooked meat of Nealgai, Bhala, Barchi etc. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the case only on suspicion. There is no source of identification as to how the informant came to know that the alleged meat is of Nealgai. Petitioner claims clean antecedent and is in custody since 19.03.2021 and investigation in this case is complete. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the
