The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Lauriya P.S. F.I.R. No. 393 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections 365, 366/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.

As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is said to have eloped with the married daughter of the informant. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 10.02.2023.

Considering the period of custody, this application for regular bail is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail

No.45635 of 2023(2) dt.04-08-2023 2/2 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, under POCSO Act, West Champaran at Bettiah in connection with Lauriya P.S. F.I.R. No. 393 of 2022.
