Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 401, 414, 379 and 511 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner is that some stolen articles were recovered from possession of the petitioner in the running train. Petitioner is in custody since 25.07.2017 and has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent. Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with GRP Patna Police Station

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.58372 of 2017 (2) dt.12-12-2017 2/2 Case No. 392 of 2017, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be local resident of the territorial jurisdiction of the court below having immovable property and the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
